OUR PROFESSIONALS

 

LGC currently nests professionals, affiliated with the Cameroon PGA

•They come from nearby regions

•They learned golf on the fairway, without passing the Green Card

•Most of them were previously Caddies or Ball Fetchers prior to passing the PRO COMPETITIONS

•Their equipment is principally donated by members

One of our professional players, NJI PRESTLEY  regularly participates in international competitions without the help of sponsors.

At this date, none of the professional golfers of the LGC make a living from his activity / passion. They participate in sponsored tournaments, but prize money often barely covers their travel expenses.

 

The 2 main competitions exclusively dedicated to Cameroon golf on a fixed term: the Cameroon International Open (Golf Federation) and the Charity OGCELSF (private initiative)
