OUR CADDIES

The LGC has 75 caddies regularly identified and available

​

The caddies all hail from the LGC neighborhoods.

​

Their average age is 20 to 25 years.

​

In order to make a living, many of them do odd jobs during the week, basically as employees of the service providers responsible for the maintenance of the course.

​

They are paid up to 3,500 FCFA (5.50 €) for 9 holes and 5,000 FCFA (7.52 €) for 18 holes.

​

A caddies’ tournament is organized once a month to detect at the end of the season who is likely to acquire a professional player status at the end of the season.
